What is Maternal Rose?

Maternal Rose is a keepsake app for capturing and preserving your baby's birth story and the memories that follow. Guided prompts, photos, and keepsake pages help you record every precious detail of your child's arrival: the emotions, the moments, and the people who were there.

When should I write my birth story?

Anytime. Sooner is easier, while the details are still fresh, and many moms start within the first few weeks. But it is never too late. Whether your baby is two weeks or two years old, the story of how they arrived is worth telling.

What if I had a difficult birth?

Maternal Rose is for all birth stories: joyful, complicated, unexpected, and everything in between. Many mothers find that writing about their experience can be healing. You are always in control of what you write and what you share.

What if my story includes loss?

Their story is here whenever you are ready. Maternal Rose is built from day one with a gentle path for mothers carrying grief, with prompts and pacing that honor your child and never rush you.

Can I include photos?

Yes. You can add photos with dates and captions to create a visual timeline of your baby's arrival. From ultrasound images to the first family portrait, your photos help bring the story to life.

Who can see my birth story?

Your birth story is completely private by default. You choose if and when to invite the people who matter most: your partner, grandparents, close friends, or no one at all. There is no public feed, and there never will be. Your story belongs to you.

Can I create a keepsake to print?

Yes. Maternal Rose turns your birth story into beautifully designed, print-ready keepsake pages. Frame them for the nursery, add them to a baby book, or give them as gifts to grandparents.

Does it work for adoptive parents or surrogacy?

Absolutely. Every child deserves to know the story of how they came into your life. Thoughtful prompts are designed for all paths to parenthood, including adoption, surrogacy, and foster care.
